"I have been a resident of the beautiful Scenic City for over 20 years now. I relocated to Chattanooga from Michigan to continue my Manufacturing Management career in 1989. After over 25 years in Manufacturing I decided it was time for a change.I received my Affiliate Broker license in November of 2008 and joined The Randy Durham Team as Buyer Specialist in July 2009. I love to work with buyers because it is so satisfying to help them find their perfect house. I pride myself in quick and responsive customer service. My wife and I live in Chattanooga because we want to, not because we have to. I have been very fortunate to have had a career in international marketing and sales that took me all over the globe and we've lived in Europe and a lot of wonderful places in the USA and at the end of the day we always considered Chattanooga home. I lived here in 1988 and saw the beginning of the evolution of what Chattanooga has become today. We moved back here for good in 2003 and I never get tired of telling people about this great place... the kind generous people, the history, the geography and the beauty that God has blessed us with.
Because of my background in international business, I am used to working and building relationships with a wide diversity of people. My career as a Realtor is so rewarding because I get to continue to apply those skills everyday. It's not just about real estate. I love asking, "how can I help you... what can I do for you today?" and help my clients accomplish their goals and dreams.
My wife is from here and is a member of the First Families of Tennessee, the DAR, French Huguenot Society and all that good stuff and is a Georgia fan... go figure. I have two children: my daughter graduated from UT Knoxville and my son graduated from Brevard College.
I was born and raised in NC and graduated from North Carolina State University. My background includes: banking and finance, international sales and marketing and sales management for major brands. Founding partner of Main Street Meats in Chattanooga.
With 24 years of commercial experience, several years ago I decided to pursue my life-long dream of becoming a residential real estate consultant. Having lived in the Chattanooga area all my life, I am more familiar with the area as a whole than are most consultants.
When the market shifted, causing a lot of homeowners to be 'underwater' or 'upside down' on their mortgages, I knew there was a need for homeowners to have an avenue to pursue loan modifications and potential short sales of their properties. However, I also realized their greatest need was to have a consultant who is caring, understanding, patient, and willing to guide them through this process. My past experience working with various financial institutions and then earning my Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Short Sale and Foreclosure (SFR) designations, has allowed me to assist numerous homeowners over the last two years, which has ultimately resulted in bettering these homeowners lives as a whole. Call me today at (423) 994-2106.
